I am Agata Smolarek, an attorney at law practicing in Poland.
I have been working as a lawyer for over 25 years, so I can boast a wealth of professional experience, although everyday professional life constantly brings new challenges.

Together with a team of domestic and foreign lawyers, I deal with broadly understood economic and commercial law, environmental law, intellectual and industrial property law, personal data protection law, IT law and blockchain technology law, protection of human rights, EU law, and international legal transactions.

In my opinion, the essence of the legal profession is to help when a person needs to receive what is rightfully due to them under the law.

On the one hand, the work of a lawyer consists of supporting the client strictly legally, but on the other hand, I still see the mission of this profession and recognize my responsibility for the implementation of human and civil rights.

As a lawyer, I feel obliged to ensure that the interests of my clients, requiring judicial intervention, are conducted properly and with due diligence. This is how we always work together as a team.

My work allows me to help, inspire, shape legal awareness, and build myself as a person and a lawyer. Due to my life mission, which includes humanitarian aid, promoting ethical and moral values, and broadly understood humanization in the fields of law, science, and business, I am a member of international organizations and institutions, including those implementing the goals of the UN SDG.

I am also an ambassador of peace, culture, and art, a Global Goodwill Ambassador, and a Royal Peace Ambassador of the Kingdom of Numi – Numidia, African Diaspora. Additionally, I serve as an expert in the Council of Stakeholders at the Faculty of Political Sciences of the University of Warsaw. I have been a pro bono activist for many years, including within the professional self-government of lawyers, of which I am a member.

I am the owner of a law firm and the company Global Business & Law Ltd., which specializes in consulting and educational activities in the field of law and business. My firm collaborates with the scientific, economic, cultural, and artistic communities both domestically and internationally.

I am also active on social media, especially LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter.

I love humanitarian work and have a professional passion for intellectual property law. I also have a deep appreciation for art and culture, especially music and painting. I love nature and animals (I have two cats) and enjoy meeting new people.

In my spare time, I am a social global networker. I support and empower others, including through my involvement in the District Chamber of Attorneys at Law in Wrocław, Poland.
