About Me
Dr. Sanya Sharma is a dedicated philanthropist, social reformer, and entrepreneur whose impactful initiatives have transformed countless lives across India and beyond.
During the first wave of COVID-19, she launched Mission Shramik Sahyog from the UK, becoming the first to mobilize large-scale overseas aid for stranded Indian laborers. Her efforts secured essential supplies and financial support for families across multiple states and even assisted stranded Indians in Britain, working closely with the Indian High Commission. In the second wave, she led Mission Sahyog, providing oxygen cylinders, hospitalizations, and aid to families in crisis.
Her passion for social service led to the establishment of Sahyog Samvriddhi Foundation (SSF). She is also a member of DNIP Care, offering palliative care to terminally ill patients.
A staunch advocate for women’s empowerment, Dr. Sharma has provided employment to women with career gaps through her EdTech business AAIS Learning UK/ AAIS Square Solutions India where 95% of her workforce consists of female professionals in freelance and remote roles. She actively supports acid attack survivors and has conducted fundraising campaigns in the UK as a Smile Ambassador for the Chhanv Foundation. Additionally, as a core team member of F-CAPP (Foundation for Campaign Against Plastic Pollution) , she leads environmental campaigns against single-use plastics.
Dr Sharma holds a PhD on rape cases in India. Her work in education has been recognized with the Excellence in Education Award from the National Private School Association in Bangalore.
Dr. Sharma’s contributions have earned her several accolades, including the She Inspires Award at the British Parliament. She was the first runner-up at Mrs. International 2018 in Dubai .
