Gebreegziabher Tadele Desalegn is a journalist from Tigray, Ethiopia, with more than 12 years of professional experience in journalism and media. Over the course of his career, he has developed extensive expertise in journalism, international communication, peace advocacy, diplomacy, and global leadership.

He has received professional training and certificates from internationally recognized institutions and media organizations, including CNN Academy, Agence France-Presse (AFP), Reuters, NBCU Academy, Indiana University, and the University of Derby, among others. He has also received more than 140 international certificates recognizing his participation, training, leadership, and contributions across different fields.

Beyond journalism, Gebreegziabher is actively engaged in international peace and leadership initiatives. He identifies as a Global Peace Ambassador, with certifications and affiliations involving organizations including the Institute for Economics and Peace, Global Peace Chain, and United Nations Peace Ambassadors Foundation. He also serves as a Global Ambassador of United Leaders Global, Deputy Head of Ambassadors at International Diplomats, and a member of Board Directors of International Cities of Peace. In addition, he has contributed as a volunteer to the US-Africa Initiative.

Through his work in journalism, peacebuilding, international diplomacy, and leadership, Gebreegziabher Tadele Desalegn seeks to contribute to greater understanding, dialogue, peace, and positive social change both in Ethiopia and internationally
