About Me
Elizabeth Amoaa is an award-winning reproductive health advocate, author and founder of Speciallady Awareness Global, a registered charity in England and Speciallady Awareness, a non-governmental organization based in Ghana. Driven by her personal journey with multiple reproductive health conditions including uterus didelphys, endometriosis, and fibroids, Elizabeth has become a powerful voice in raising awareness and empowering women to understand and take charge of their health.
After years of battling misdiagnoses and medical challenges, Elizabeth turned her experiences into a mission to educate and inspire. She shares her story globally as an inspirational speaker and health educator, breaking taboos and encouraging open conversations about reproductive and menstrual health.
She is the author of two impactful books: The Special Lady, a deeply personal story of resilience and triumph and The Unspoken Identity, which delves into themes of identity, health, and self-empowerment. The Unspoken Identity has been approved by Ghana’s National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NaCCA) as a supplementary educational resource for Senior High Schools, and is available in over 500 libraries and top-tier universities worldwide.
With over 20 years of professional experience spanning the banking, legal and advocacy sectors, Elizabeth is widely recognized for her strategic leadership, problem-solving skills and commitment to social impact. Her advocacy and humanitarian efforts have earned her numerous awards and accolades globally.
Elizabeth continues to lead with passion, inspiring a global movement that challenges stigma, promotes education and uplifts the voices of women and girls everywhere.
