About Me
Dr. Maria Santiago Valentin is a learning disabilities and educational consultant, a harassment/intimidation/bullying certified specialist in New Jersey, mindfulness teacher and applied behavioral analysis therapist.
Dr. Maria was awarded her doctorate of education degree on December 8, 2023 by Walden University. She earned the 2024 Leadership Excellence Award from Walden University and the school where she works, the Educational Professional Services of the Year 2024 Award.
Dr. Maria’s name was entered into the New Jersey Governor’s Educator of the Year 2024 data system.
She is a Climate Reality Project Leader, Mentor, Trainer and Co-presenter. In her town she is a member of the Franklin Township Environmental Commission. She is one of the contributing authors of Climate Abandoned, an anthology edited and compiled by the author Jill Cody with the Climate Crisis and Education (24) chapter. Maria was inducted by Walden University at their Kappa Delta Phi (International Honor Society of Education) Chapter in 2021.
